Discussion: Is the fate of mentally ill patients doomed to the end of their lives? Are mental illnesses incurable?

Treating mental illness and disorders patients is primarily symptomatic and usually not intended for a complete cure. The patient sometimes achieves improvement, but the progress is not necessarily permanent, and the disease may return. (Similar to diseases of the body)
