The cannabis oil CBD (without the active addictive substance THC) is attributed to many favorable sedation properties, pain relief, and other relief of a long list of symptoms. Beyond the legality of the use (CBD oil is still illegal in various parts of the world), there is no support that CBD oil helps with alcohol withdrawal. On a theoretical level (my opinion), no drug or chemical alone can "cure" addictions, which are an energetic phenomenon.
