I gasp at every little effort and refrain from exercise.

Fear paralyzes, but the body must be active. Otherwise, the health will deteriorate. Patients with chronic heart diseases must exercise moderately but regularly, preferably in the fresh air.

1. Exercise, not necessarily intense, is essential for adequately flowing lymph fluid, the immune system's second line of defense.
2 Regular exercise improves aerobic capacity and cardiovascular and lung output. The result is usually a decrease in heartbeats and an improvement in blood pressure levels.
3 The skeleton and joints must move and resist to maintain the joints' flexibility. Without movement, inflammatory processes damage the joints.
4 Moderate walking, especially after eating, improves digestion.
5 Exercise, especially outdoors, in the open air, improves mood and concentration.
6 Regular physical activity improves sexual function in men and women.
