During intercourse, the vagina secretes a lubricating fluid. Sometimes, due to pressure and contraction of the vagina, the penetration may be difficult and slightly painful. It is advisable to reach the penetration stage when the partner is relaxed; applying a water-based lubricant is desirable. It does not detract from pleasure and prevents pain. Gradually, the need for lubrication will disappear.
