Due to severe migraines, I turned to my attending physician in an attempt to improve my diet. He did not attribute much importance to the issue and sent me to a nutritionist.

Physicians have little time per patient and are not interested in devoting their precious time to nutritional issues. Many doctors lack extensive knowledge of nutrition; for those who request it, and in vital cases, they often prefer to send the patient to nutritionists. An anti-inflammatory diet is essential for relieving migraine pain. It is necessary to note that there are quite a few different schools of nutritional science, with significant gaps that make it difficult for many chronic patients, including migraine sufferers.
