Discussion: I run a bureau of a senior politician. There have been many attempts in the past to harass me sexually. I seem to recognize a destructive pattern of male harassers: successful, well-established, and opinionated men.

I do not specialize in that field, so I answer from my knowledge. To the best of my understanding, sexual harassment is an issue that has existed almost ever since. It has burst into consciousness, especially in the current decade. Sexual harassment exists in all population sections, not just among politicians, senior executives, or very established people. However, great power may give men a sense of omnipotence that makes them bolder. Do we sometimes find celebrities more harassing than others? You may be correct, but the issue needs to be examined.
