I recommend that addicts of smoking and alcohol, especially in the stages of withdrawal, adopt an anti-inflammatory, varied, natural diet without processed and industrialized foods. An anti-inflammatory diet will alleviate, among other things, the withdrawal effects. Full details can be found in the article in the attached link.
Most of us are exposed to TV shows or other media that teach us about one essential supplement. We run to the health food store and buy the supplement without changing feelings or illness! There are hundreds of nutrients. It is challenging to remember which foods contain what, so the right way is to consume varied foods, mostly from plants, preferably organic and genetically engineered. With controlled sun exposure, you will not need any supplement (unless you are vegan), nor will you have to strain and look for what nutrients are missing in your body!
