Is there a similarity between a patient like me who contracted a viral liver disease and an alcoholic liver disease?

The causes of alcoholic liver disease and viral liver disease are, of course, different. The cumulative damage to liver cells is about the same, so the process of repairing the physiological damage is the same. Except for the difference that drinkers need rehab as a requirement for recovery.
