Analgesics, triptans, NSAIDs, glucocorticoids, beta-blockers, antidepressants, and sedatives are a partial list of the different groups of migraine medications. Can they cure Migraines?

None of these drugs can cure migraines because they do not neutralize the causes of the disease but only relieve the symptoms of pain. The prolonged use of drugs dramatically burdens the liver and kidneys, weakens the immune system, and perpetuates the disease. Medications are intended for temporary use until the patient makes the necessary lifestyle changes, not as permanent use over the years. The possibility of treatment by natural means is most often not offered by doctors.

As a patient with liver cirrhosis, I suffered for many years from severe migraines, often for days. I feel how my cervical lymph nodes swell. Throughout my illness, I did not take any migraine medication, even though, in my eyes, migraines are the most paralyzing pain. For a short period, I tried a drug (Gabapentin with a prescription from a specialist neurologist) usually prescribed to neuropathy and epilepsy patients. The drug paralyzed me completely, and after a short period, I stopped using it. Throughout my recovery stages, which lasted over 12 years! I didn't take any medication.
