It is easier to blame heredity over which we have no control rather than ourselves. Family and environment have a far-reaching effect on smoking (and drinking alcoholic beverages). In both cases, it is a blockage of the fifth energy center (chakra) that controls communication. Smoking, like other addictions, is not a hereditary phenomenon.
