Theoretical issues regarding Alcohol and Smoking rehab methodology.

Medicine has evolved in the last century only in the technological-computer direction (very different from physics and chemistry, where there is constant theoretical research.) Mainly because it has no directive philosophy. Without the compass, medicine "flowed" with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, but these could not break through the existing boundaries of medicine. Not knowing what causes addictions, treatment is primarily symptomatic, with reasonably low success rates.
