Should medicine point out the scientific challenges and past failures it faces?

Medicine must emphasize its impressive achievements, challenges, various attempts, and failures. Failure is not the opposite of success but part of it. If medicine does not set clear goals, it will have difficulty meeting them. Without understanding what caused the failures, the chances of success are small. Investigation of failures is the basis of the scientific method.
