If psychological therapies fail to penetrate the subconscious and cure addictions, they are useless!

Usually, addictions can not be recovered through conversations with psychologists. Most routine psychological therapies (which do not treat hypnosis or like) often cannot penetrate the subconscious mind and locate unresolved traumatic events. Most of us have struggles in life, challenges, crises, and a natural need to share. Psychology has a calming dimension of participating, strengthening choices, and preventing mental deterioration. A psychologist is perceived as an experienced, neutral person with an attentive ear. This is a built-in need for all of us, so psychological treatments are not redundant. The question is a question of coordinating expectations in the first place.
