Are waiting times for doctors and laboratory tests in state health systems optimal for public health and the economy?

The answer to the question is quite complex and has no simple answer. The starting point is that the time patients spend visiting the doctor should positively correlate to the severity of their medical condition and the options for treatment. The patient's ability to express themselves accurately and the possibilities that conventional medicine has to improve their situation are of great importance. Without built-in preventive medicine, health services are not economically optimized. The patient depends on the attending physician, the availability of medical services and laboratory and other tests in his area of residence, and more. No wonder most of us prefer complementary private health insurance.
