Discussion: Would you agree to perform a surgical procedure (under anesthesia) by an inexperienced intern?

A specialist who watches complex surgeries often assists interns, but luck is sometimes needed! Most of us would be afraid to perform an invasive procedure by an inexperienced intern doctor. (Even if they have golden hands.) Luckily, we usually do not know how much experience a doctor has, especially if they look older and authoritative.
