I am 50 years old with type 1 diabetes. In recent years I have had a lot of varicose veins in my legs. I'm not interested in invasive treatment. Is there a natural treatment for the phenomenon?

Varicose veins in the legs result from inflammatory processes that damage the valves of the leg veins and cause swelling, sometimes also pain, and an unsmooth appearance of the foot. The various treatments (there are also non-invasive treatments) are designed to destroy the damaged veins so the body can dissolve them while creating new bypass veins.

Natural treatment involves considerable effort and is associated with a balanced and varied anti-inflammatory diet of only natural foods. Avoid prolonged standing and physical activity that does not burden the legs, such as swimming. Foot massages are recommended. These are very long processes but with added values far beyond improving varicose veins in the legs.
