Are alcoholics and smokers more prone to hard drug addictions?

At the methodological level, drug addicts fail to meet expectations and self-fulfillment related to the sixth energy center (the third eye chakra). Therefore, there is no complete overlap between alcoholism, smoking, and the consumption of addictive drugs. Many alcohol addicts suffer from low self-esteem, self-expression problems, difficulty coping with reality, and the ability to give and receive love. These are the energy centers (chakras 4-5), given that 90% of all drug addicts in all addictions started with alcoholism or lighter drugs, suggesting a clear connection between these types of addictions. At the same time, it is difficult to answer the question specifically since I have not found individual numerical data. I think there is a clear connection, but not necessarily two-way. (Most drug addicts also drink alcohol, but the opposite - alcoholics who are also drug addicts, probably the phenomenon is less prevalent)
