Is a global shortage of doctors a deliberate result?

The coronavirus pandemic has sharpened the severe shortage of doctors and medical staff almost all over the world. In my opinion, there is no conspiracy here, but rather a worrying trend of a steady increase in chronic morbidity at steadily rising rates and a slow pace of training for new doctors compared to demand. Does the Physicians' Guild toughen the admission requirements for medical faculties on purpose - The answer is probably YES. The medical profession is considered very prestigious and lucrative, and the number of applicants rejected for medical studies is vast. The inevitable bottleneck will be solved only with the introduction of artificial intelligence for massive use in medicine. (Within a maximum of a decade to two)
