You may be surprised; bad cholesterol LDL and hypertension are not the leading causes of coronary heart disease!

75% of all heart attack patients had regular to low cholesterol levels! Only about 20% to 25% of cholesterol originates from our diet; the rest is synthesized in the liver. There is no point in interfering with the liver during regular operation while causing damage. High blood levels of "bad" LDL cholesterol are not a good indicator of coronary heart disease morbidity. Measuring the calcium deposits in the heart arteries and testing insulin resistance are measures that predict a much higher probability of heart attacks.
