Discussion: I am a 55-year-old patient with heart problems and type 2 diabetes in a severe condition. I do not understand why luck betrayed me and made me get such a terrible disease?

Both diseases you suffer from are manifestations of an unhealthy lifestyle and diet. The road to recovery is long and complicated and requires returning to a healthy lifestyle and an anti-inflammatory diet.

I participate in your sense of loss, but there is no luck here. The human body never acts randomly. Well-known physicist Albert Einstein said (in another context) that God does not play dice! (luck) I recommend you get acquainted with the grief model, called the Kubler-Ross model. The diseases you suffer from are reversible but require sharp changes in diet and lifestyle! The main barrier is the difficulty of accepting changes. (Which exists in almost everyone)
