Discussion: Is there a way to give an objective estimate of migraine pain?

I can testify from experience that migraines are among the most severe pains. However, producing an objective index for migraines is not easy. I have proposed a methodology for an objective measure of pain. However, applying it to migraines is particularly challenging, partly because the causes of migraines remain unknown.
