The civil aviation industry will have to be transformed into the 21st century. Massive changes in technologies and infrastructure are a must.

Civil aviation.

The aviation industry has undergone far-reaching changes in flight safety, comfort, entertainment, and audio systems, but paradoxically, flight speed remains almost the same as it was 60 years ago. Arrival time to destinations only got longer.

Knowledge from extraterrestrials will allow humanity to leap forward dramatically in civilian flights.

  • As we know, planes flying at supersonic speeds are now banned because of the noise they create. In any case, they are expensive to operate and maintain, and flight safety is more problematic.
  • The following vision must be aircraft with plasma engines and vector propulsion, capable of dramatically accelerating to Mach 6 (at least) without runways. The idea that you must have huge airports belongs to history, not the future.
    • At such speeds (Mach 6), it is possible to reach almost any destination on Earth within 3 hours, flying time to destinations not far away today.
  • As is known, the ultrasonic boom depends on the geometric structure of the aircraft, which creates the air currents, flight speed, and acceleration. High flight speed and dramatic acceleration can form a very limited cone (the ultrasonic boom zone). On the surface, aliens can perform crazy maneuvers at dizzying speeds without a supersonic boom. Maybe we'll learn from them!
  • Huge and expensive airports are a thing of the past! Tedious security checks, long waits, and passport control can be carried out using sophisticated biometrics. Uncrewed aircraft will travel another 3-5 decades in the sky like today's cars. Yes, just like in the movies.

Attempts to dramatically change the aviation industry exist, but politics, power, and much money are involved.

The civil aviation duopoly and, of course, the Chinese government are the address for change. Whoever is the first to implement the dramatic changes in civil aviation will win big.

  • The technologies of vector propulsion and plasma engines already exist, but not in passenger aircraft. Vector propulsion has the advantage of precise maneuverability, but it requires enormous thrust. The combination can take off and land vertically, similar to drones, but at the same time, it also flies at supersonic speeds.

The implementation requires a radical change in the perception of the civil aviation system.

It involves a huge investment, but the return will constitute a dramatic change for the better in the use of civil aviation.

  • If you want to watch a football game in Rio de Janeiro, then a two-hour flight and you're there! Taking your kids on a nature trip to Antarctica for just a few days will be possible.

It may sound far-fetched, but it's closer than you think.
