Eating habits, the composition of foods, their origin, chewing, meal time, size, and how we load the plate have great significance.

Eating habits.

Eating habits are often related to culture and the family unit and are essential in the modern world of stress and anxiety. The combination of lifestyle and nutrition is critical to our health. Eating habits are just as important as the food we eat.

 

Some highlights on proper eating habits:

  1. Consume as much natural food and beverages as possible. (Industrialized and processed food causes a lot of damage.)
  2. The composition of foods is of high importance. It is advisable not to consume starches together with meat, poultry, or cow's milk products. (The combination is very acidic for the gut.)
  3. Eating relatively large meals, with large time intervals between meals, is advisable. Eating must be carried out only during daylight hours. The digestive system needs rest to regenerate.
  4. Do not eat hard-to-digest foods at night. The immune system needs great resources during sleep.
  5. It is essential to chew the food well. Eating hastily, standing up, or while talking can cause poor chewing, making digestion difficult.
    1. Cut food into small pieces without chewing large lumps.
  6. Eat only when you're hungry and not because it's food time!
  7. It is allowed to leave food on a plate for the next day.
  8. It is imperative to consume natural oils and fats in almost every composition of foods. They are essential for digestion and do not fatten.
  9. Intermittent fasting initiates the hunger-satiety mechanism and is recommended. (Does not harm)
  10. It is essential to consume natural drinks without artificial sweeteners. You can drink a reasonable amount while eating.
  11. Water is the most recommended drink. Tea and coffee, without milk and sugar, are healthy drinks. All types of sweetened, unnatural beverages are unhealthy.

We eat and drink with our eyes, too! The volume and form of food and beverage are of visual importance.
