Should euthanasia be legal?
24/04/2021 16:59
The preliminary question is whether every person has the right to decide about their life. The question is a value question that often involves cultural, religious, and political considerations. When a person commits suicide, they do not ask permission to commit suicide! A person who seeks euthanasia seeks to end their life in a dignified manner. In most countries globally, euthanasia is illegal, so those who want euthanasia go to specialized clinics worldwide, which are considered very expensive. The requirements for euthanasia are that the patient is in a critical condition, with no chance of recovery, while causing great suffering. The patient must be in a mental and physical state that he can decide on their own.
